Our Artists & Perspectives
VLADY
Vlady — The Complexity Behind Color
Vlady’s paintings draw viewers in with vivid colors and playful forms, but beneath this immediate appeal lies a world of contradiction. His work explores the intersections of joy and suffering, innocence and desire. Using a visual language that feels both primitive and liberating, Vlady utilizes color to conceal, transform, and reveal the deepest complexities of the human condition.
SOE NAING
Soe Naing — The Expressive Power of Liner
A prominent figure in contemporary Myanmar art, Soe Naing blends abstract expressionism with inspiration from the fantastical murals of Bagan. His work bridges abstraction and figuration through bold gestures and expressive lines. Experimenting across diverse mediums—from oil and watercolor to crayon and ink—he explores the relationship between individuals and their environments, visualizing the ongoing search for freedom and identity.
